School Census

The School Census is an annual count of all students enrolled at the school on the official census date. It provides important information about student enrolments, attendance, year levels and other key details. This information is used by governments to plan education services and determine school funding. The Census is an administrative process and does not require any action from parents unless the school requests updated enrolment information.

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)

The NCCD is a yearly process that helps schools identify and understand the learning needs of students with disability. It records the reasonable adjustments and support a student receives at school so they can access and participate in learning on the same basis as their peers. The information collected helps schools plan appropriate support and assists governments to provide funding for students who need additional assistance. No medical diagnosis is required, and all information is kept confidential.
